Meet Jane Gallucci
Jane Gallucci is widely known as a passionate advocate for public education. She feels that schools must tell their success stories in order to preserve public education, to increase funding for education, to build parental and business support for education, and ultimately, to help all students achieve.
She speaks her mind when someone tries to undermine education…when well-intended policies run amuck. She's a passionate advocate for kids, regardless of the politics of the adults who may stand in their way.
Jane Gallucci knows schools. She has served as a teacher, a guidance counselor and long-standing member of school boards in Florida and New Jersey. As a result, she was elected president of both of the Florida and National School Boards Associations. At the national level, she has chaired major standing and appointed committees while actively involved in the NSBA grassroots advocacy network known as the Federal Relations Network.
Closer to home, she serves on numerous boards, including the YWCA, the PACE Center for Girls, Rotary Club, Brooker Creek Preserve Board, and the Dunedin Fine Arts Advisory Board.
Jane Gallucci holds Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and a Master’s Degree in family therapy and guidance. She has also received extensive training in the Baldrige quality-based management system.
